Join-a-Group Experience
We work out of a working farm (cows and sheep) on the outskirts of Killarney town. We also have friendly alpacas! If you come in the springtime, you may see some lambs! In the summer, the rural setting is idyllic and the perfect escape from a buzzing town! There is plenty of wild flora and fauna to be seen on the farm and the guide is also a wildlife biologist. (makes a good photographer too).
- Be sure to bring your camera/ phones as the photo opportunities are not to be missed!
- Killarney's National park, with Carrauntoohil and mangerton Mountain provide the perfect canvas for photographing these fantastic birds in flight.
Visiting Killarney and missed the chance for a private falconry experience or hawk walk?
This is the ideal activity for you, we often have last minute availability.
We allow a maximim of 16 participants on this experience to ensure that it is very interactive.
Participants will all be provided with a gauntlet and allolwed to recall the birds to the glove
This experience is ideal and affordable for families also.
We usually begin the experience with a harris hawk.
We will also fly at least two, sometimes three owls also!
All falconry equipment is provided
There is plenty of free parking in the farmyard
